Membership Categories

 

  1. Cities: membership is open to all cities, towns, or urban settlements who will officially participate by their representative(s).
  2. National and subnational Governments, local authorities, and non-governmental associations representing cities: organization working in line with UEF’s mandate. Governments and government officials include but are not limited to mayors, city councilors, national, subnational, and regional governments, city’s decision makers and managers, community managers, leaders, and non-governmental organizations representing cities as either an organization or as an individual.
  3. Universities, Research Institutes and Academics: Any Institution including universities, faculties or departments, research institutes, centers for excellence or individuals, such a professors and students, affiliated with such institutions can become a member under this platform.
  4. Financial Institutions: Any financial institution including banks, investment firms, credit unions, insurance companies, pension plans or individuals working at such institutions can become a member under this platform.
  5. Urban Developers: Any institution or individual working in the domain of the urban development, engineering and construction, real property, and, real estate can become a member under this platform.
  6. Civil Society Organizations: Any organizations working to improve the economic and social developments of cities.

 

Membership Conditions
 

  • Professional experience under one of UEF’s membership categories 
  • Actively involved or working toward sustainable urbanism principles as an individual or in organizations directly or indirectly.
  • No real or perceived conflict of interest between organizations, individuals and UEF
  • Endorsed by UEF Selection Committee
  • Maintain good standing with UEF World Assembly and Board of Directors

 

How to Join
