Tiffany Tong is Co-Founder and CEO of Aloi (www.aloi.global), a financial inclusion-focused startup in Singapore and Nepal. Aloi (www.aloi.global) is a green micro-entrepreneur financing platform that uses blockchain to automatically monitor business expenditures. We help grassroots entrepreneurs access more affordable financing from formal financial institutions. Aloi is honoured to have won awards from UNCDF, Monetary Authority of Singapore, World Bank, National Geographic, GIZ, and Welthungerhilfe.
Tiffany has worked in data and development in Africa and Asia for the last 12 years. She has implemented projects and statistical surveys for governments, NGOs, and the World Bank. She also co-founded a technology platform for job matching in Tanzania which was funded by ALN Ventures and USAID. Tiffany graduated from the University of British Columbia and the Silicon Valley-based Singularity University, which focuses on applying exponential technologies to global problems. With grandparents who were refugees and immigrant parents, Tiffany is proud to be the third generation of migrant entrepreneurs in her family. Her life’s mission is to advocate for similar opportunities to flourish for all.
