THE FUTURE OF SMART CITY BUILDING FOR EVERYONE
Join The Daniels Corporation and AccessNow for a special event on the importance of smart city building for everyone.
About this Event
The Daniels Corporation, one of Toronto’s pre-eminent builders/developers, has recently partnered with AccessNow, an accessibility technology company that pinpoints accessibility around the world. Since 2016, AccessNow has built a robust, go-to information resource for the disabled community that uncovers the accessibility of the built environment. With reviews featured in 35 countries around the world, the platform built for the community, by the community, provides a pan-disability lens on the accessibility of physical spaces and the outdoors.
Daniels has made a bold commitment to inclusivity through our Accessibility Designed Program (ADP), which focuses on improving design standards to ensure universal accessibility within our communities.
Through this partnership, we embarked on an exciting project to map the accessibility of businesses and public spaces in Regent Park to showcase the successes and also the barriers that exist for people with disabilities in how they live, work and play in their community.
On Wednesday, June 29th at 10:00 am, join us as we unveil our MapMission video and have an important conversation about the importance of smart and accessible city building for everyone.
