Lenka Martinek
Lenka is an investment strategist with over two decades of experience in research and capital markets. At Nordis Capital, Lenka plays a key role in leading the research efforts of the firm and is a senior member of the investment committee. Nordis Capital focuses exclusively on opportunities and risks related to environmental, social and governance factors. Prior to joining Nordis Capital, Lenka was a global macro portfolio manager at one of Canada’s largest pension funds. Previous to that role, she was the chief strategist of the US Investment Strategy service at BCA Research, the leading provider of independent global macro investment research. Lenka holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Western University and recently completed a master’s degree in Management and Sustainable development at HEC Montreal due to her desire to be better equipped to effect positive change while pursuing a financial career. She is also a board member of Ecohabitation, a Quebec based non-profit organization that facilitates the emergence of healthy, resource- and energy-efficient, sustainable, affordable housing.
