Jude Kimengsi
Prof. Jude Kimengsi is Senior Scientist at the Faculty of Environmental Sciences, Technische Universität Dresden (Germany), and an Associate Professor in Resource and Environmental Geography at the University of Bamenda. Between 2012 and 2015, Prof. Kimengsi worked as Consultant on Sustainable Development at the Pan African Institute for Development – West Africa. Prof. Kimengsi was Expert Reviewer of the First Order Draft (FOD) of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC’s) Sixth Assessment Report. He served as Associate Editor for Nature (Social Sciences), published by Springer and Scientific African Journal (Elsevier). Since 2018, he been serving as facilitator at a United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP) International Postgraduate Course on Environmental Management for Developing Countries. He has served as Lead Consultant for the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) and a University of Cologne/DAAD Regional Expert on research grant proposal writing. Jude is a Fellow of the Global Young Academy, the Cameroon Academy of Young Scientists (CAYS), an Associate Fellow of the African Academy of Sciences. He is also Central Africa’s Regional Director of the African Planners Institute (API).
