# ueforum.org Urban Economy Forum's official website. Urban Economy Forum is an international non-governmental organization working closely with United Nations and international organizations to advance the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through innovative approaches to urban management. UEF works to bridge the knowledge and implementation gap between municipalities, academics and the private sector about municipal finance and urban economy to identify and share best practices. To achieve this, UEF is establishing pilot and pioneer projects on sustainable urbanisation in cities throughout the world. UEF 2021 will focus on housing as one of the key elements for urban equality, and as a practical arena for shifting societal behaviour in a world affected by climate change and pandemics. There are a number of good practices for effective and scalable solutions being adopted by the people most impacted by COVID-19, who are least likely to have a steady place to call home and most affected by the damage to our climate. - [UEF4- 2022](https://www.ueforum.org/uef4-2022): The Urban Economy Forum will host its fourth annual conference, UEF4, an important venue for the financial institutions, economic organizations, urban practitioners and stakeholders, city leaders, and, academia, to participate in an open dialogue on Sustainable Urban Development with a focus on urban economy. In addition, it will be a venue for brainstorming, networking, and making vital connections that can lead to new initiatives, research and funding. The title of this year’s Forum is “Sustainable Urban Finance”. The format of the Forum will be hybrid in nature, with in person and virtual participation.
